But if the user then presses the same key again, the system will transfer the user from the desktop to the “My Documents” sub-item. A trifle, of course, but interesting.

Speakers

As we remember, the Impression ImPad 0211 has two stereo speakers on the right side.

Frankly speaking, in my opinion, the capabilities of these devices can be easily compared to the quality of the speakerphone speakers in expensive music smartphones and phones. These capabilities are quite enough to watch a movie, of course, if the user’s attention is not distracted by outside noise, or if he is in a room closed from other sounds.

As for the playback quality, in my opinion, it is quite good. There is no noticeable distortion, hoarseness or the like. I would not pay attention to minor distortions because, I repeat, they are really insignificant, and secondly, this is not a musical device, and therefore the speakers do not have to be ultra-high-quality. What we have is quite sufficient for work or leisure conditions in a quiet room.

It must be said that the viewing angles of the display are far from the most interesting, but if you look at the panel at a small angle, the “fading” of the colors is relatively acceptable, you can still see the information, although, of course, I would like the viewing angles to be somewhat better.

The backlight in the system is adjusted both manually and automatically. Manual settings are located in a separate submenu, and are implemented in the form of a scale with a slider, which the user moves.

An accelerometer has been implemented. The system responds instantly to the user’s action – turning the device horizontally or vertically. It is gratifying that by default in the settings the user can choose both landscape (that is, horizontal) and portrait (that is, vertical) scanning systems. In addition, there is also a landscape inverted mode as well as a portrait inverted mode.

Data, when the panel is exposed to direct sunlight, is clearly visible only from the center of the display, if the user views the data, as they say, strictly straight. From the corners, as I said above, the colors noticeably fade.
