If the "Authentication required" message appears, "Sender address rejected: Access denied" or “Send auth command first”, authorization on the Yandex SMTP server is disabled in the mail program settings. Make sure the option is enabled User Authentication(for Outlook Express) or SMTP Authentication(for The Bat!).

If a message appears "Sender address rejected: not owned by auth user", the address from which you are trying to send a letter does not match the one under whose login you are authorized on the SMTP server. Make sure that in the mail program settings, the return address is set to exactly the address from which the login is used in the SMTP authorization settings.

If a message appears "Login failure or POP3 disabled", the mail program cannot access the mailbox using the POP3 protocol. Make sure you have entered correct password from the mailbox and in the settings section, access via the POP3 protocol is enabled.

If a message appears "Message rejected under suspicion of SPAM", the contents of your email were recognized by Yandex.Mail as spam. To solve the problem, open Yandex.Mail and send any one letter as a test. This way you will prove to the system that the letters are not being sent by a robot.

Check your computer for viruses using free antivirus programs: CureIt! from Dr.Web and Virus Removal Tool from Kaspersky Lab.

If your mail program does not accept or send letters, check that your mail program settings are correct, as well as your computer’s Internet connection settings.

If you are using an antivirus program, firewall, or proxy server, disable them and see if this reproduces the problem.

Read step-by-step instructions to find missing emails. Before you start.

Select an issue:

When you delete messages, they go to the Deleted Items folder and are stored there for 30 days. During this period you can restore them:

  1. Go to the Deleted Items folder.
  2. Select the required letters.
  3. Click the To Folder button.

If more than a month has passed since they were deleted, it will not be possible to restore the letters - they have been permanently deleted from the Yandex.Mail servers.

If the letters are not in the folder where they should be, then most likely they ended up in another folder, for example Deleted Items or Spam. If you remember the sender's name or address, part of the text of the letter or the subject, try searching for letters in all folders of your mailbox.

Have you found the letters?

You can restore letters:

  1. Go to the folder in which the letters were found.
  2. Select the required letters.
  3. Click the To Folder button.
  4. Select from the list the folder where you want to move the letters - for example, Inbox.

Why emails disappear and how to avoid it

The Deleted emails folder is stored for 30 days, and the Spam folder for 10 days. After this, they will be permanently deleted from Yandex servers. Why can emails end up in these folders without your knowledge:

Another user has access to your mailbox

Emails can be deleted by a user who has access to your mailbox: perhaps you forgot to end your session after working on someone else's device. To end your session, click the link in your account menu Log out on all devices. This can also be done on the page - using the link Log out on all computers.

Letters disappear in the mail program

A rule has been configured that deletes or moves letters. Letters disappear in the mail program.

If you use a mail program and delete letters in it, then they disappear on . This happens because your program is configured using the IMAP protocol - in this case, the mailbox structure on the service is synchronized with the mailbox structure in the program. To delete messages only in the program, but leave them in Yandex.Mail, you can configure the program using the POP3 protocol, but we recommend not doing this: the messages may not synchronize correctly with the server.

A rule has been configured that deletes or moves emails Indicate authentic ones in Yandex.Passport and link them to your account. Our security system may have found your account suspicious and blocked your mailbox. Most often this happens due to the fact that the phone number is not attached to the box or the Passport contains fictitious name and last name. It usually takes a couple of hours to remove the lock.

If you delete letters in your mail program, but they are still in their folders on the Yandex.Mail website, then most likely your mail program is configured using the POP3 protocol. Due to the peculiarities of the POP3 protocol, messages in the mail program may not synchronize correctly with the server. To work with Yandex.Mail, it is recommended to use the IMAP protocol. To learn how to migrate your email program from POP3 to IMAP, see Migration from POP3.

If your email program does not display sent emails, then most likely your email program is configured using the POP3 protocol. If you receive errors about an incorrect certificate when activating SSL encryption in your email program, make sure that your email program and operating system are configured correctly:

  • On a computer (without lags and "date from the future"). If the wrong date is set, the system erroneously determines that the certificate has not yet expired or has already expired.
  • All installed.
  • Checking HTTPS connections is disabled in your antivirus settings. You can change your antivirus settings according to our instructions for Kaspersky Internet Security and ESET NOD32 Smart Security See the Security Certificate Errors section.

Manually add a certificate to the list of trusted certificates (Windows)

Attention. If you are not sure that you can install the certificate yourself, contact a specialist.

To add a certificate to the list of trusted certificates:

  11. In the folder tree, click on the folder update the program to version 6 or higher. After updating, run next steps:
    1. In the program menu, select Properties → S/MIME and TLS.
    2. In the block, set the switch to the Internal position.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Try sending a letter. If the certificate error appears again, then in the same block Properties → S/MIME and TLS → Implementing S/MIME and TLS certificates Set the radio button to Microsoft CryptoAPI.
    5. Click OK button..
    6. Unpack the archive.
    7. Run the mailssl.bat file as administrator.
    8. In the mail program settings, turn off SSL and specify the following server parameters:
      • SMTP: server - localhost, port - 25
      • POP3: server - localhost, port - 110
      • IMAP: server - localhost, port - 143

If the problem persists, try using the recommendations from the articles Trade Management Mail Client and Gmail (following the recommendations, substitute Attention.

Be sure to enter your username and password manually. If you select authentication similar to the incoming mail server, sending will not work.

Limitation. You can send letters in this way only to addresses serviced by Yandex.Mail (in the yandex.ru domain or to addresses. To mailboxes of other postal services emails will not be sent through this server.

If you recently changed your mailbox password, make sure you also update your mail program settings. If the password in the settings is correct, wait a few hours - the mail program settings may not synchronize with the Yandex server right away.

Wann beginnt mein Abonnement?

Was it "die Cloud"?

Daily program office suite Microsoft Outlook is launched by many users, but only a few of them actively use all its functionality. Most, as a rule, use its individual components. Microsoft Outlook - for some it is a super task planner for all occasions, for some it is a convenient calendar, for others functional base business contacts. But still most user audience uses this program as a desktop email client.

What is Microsoft Outlook 2013, how does it work with the email client, how to configure it - we will understand all this below.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 – what is it?

A component of the Microsoft Office 2013 software package, Outlook 2013 is a multifunctional personal manager that includes an email client, a reader for reading RSS news feeds, a task scheduler, a calendar, a contact database, and small notes. Outlook can be used as a standalone organizer program or in conjunction with an email client. Companies often use the program as a client for a mail server. Microsoft Exchange Server for collaboration employees. Outlook includes the ability to track other people's document work Microsoft applications Office for creating a work diary in automatic mode. There is even a weather report inside the program.

The organization of Microsoft Outlook has not changed much over the years of product evolution, but the interface in the 2013 version, keeping pace with the general concept of minimalism and the entire Microsoft Office suite, and Windows 8 in general, has become simpler and more ergonomic. It is impossible not to note the main advantage of both Outlook 2013 and the entire Microsoft Office 2013 suite - large program control buttons. The interface of office applications was designed primarily for users of touch devices with small screens, but this does not prevent users of regular computers and laptops with small screens from benefiting from using the products.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 is a multifunctional product, and it is unlikely that it will be possible to fully reveal its potential and describe all its capabilities in one publication. As if whole book I couldn’t tell you about all the possibilities of this program. Therefore, let’s take a quick look at Microsoft Outlook 2013 only in the context of a good, functional mailer.

Working with mail with Microsoft Outlook 2013

Even for beginners, such a large-scale product as Microsoft Outlook 2013 may seem uncomplicated at first glance. The developers, knowing how users who are just starting to master the basics of a computer or who are moving a little further than games and spending time on social networks are afraid of an interface studded with various buttons, options, add-ons and other controls, thought out the appearance of the program quite organically. Due to adaptation for devices with small touch screens, we will see only the necessary and frequently used functionality in the main window of Outlook 2013. And as we study the program, we can gradually look into other tabs and sections until we reach the point of setting up program parameters.

Learning Microsoft Outlook 2013 will be greatly simplified for users who have previously worked with at least one Microsoft Office application. The program interface is implemented in the Ribbon style, based on toolbars separated by tabs. The “File” menu is also organized like other Microsoft Office applications, with a ribbon list of options that appears on the entire screen.

What features does Microsoft Outlook 2013 offer when working with mail?

Outlook 2013 allows you to flexibly customize the presentation of email messages with a reading area at the bottom or on the right.

You can completely disable the preview of emails in order to open them in a separate pop-up window.

The “Show as Conversations” option combines several emails into a conversation thread, displaying them as a single element regardless of whether the emails are in the same folder or in different ones.

The view of letters can be filtered by table sections - by date of receipt, subject, recipient, attachments, etc.

The sidebar on the left with a list of program folders can be compactly folded into a small strip with vertically labeled main folders, so as not to interfere with productive work with mail on computer devices with small screens.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 offers extensive search functionality for email content in an additional tab that appears when you activate the search field for folder messages.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 is a software product for intellectual work. The form for sending an email is a whole text editor. Those who work closely with the text editor from the software giant will find here the usual arsenal for formatting text, will be able to check spelling and grammar, find the meaning of words using the built-in dictionary, translate sent letters, and also use other features Microsoft Word, built into Outlook.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 allows you to customize the so-called personal letterhead, that is, select a theme from the options offered by the developer for designing letters, and all outgoing messages will be sent in this finish.

Setting up a personal form and template signatures for each individual case is available in the form outgoing message email when you click the “Signatures” option.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 allows you to create many different signatures by formatting their text and inserting a picture.

By type of quick access panel, frequently used buttons and options in all Microsoft products Office Outlook 2013 is equipped with a “Quick Actions” button, which you can customize by making a selection of your most frequently used commands.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 may be a lot for the average user who uses email for personal needs. Of course, this is a software product for business people whose circle of contacts has expanded due to work commitments or promoted projects.

Microsoft Settings Outlook 2013

To set up any desktop or mobile email software client, the email service must provide access to download mail. And not all email services provide access to downloading mail by default. Therefore, before setting up any mailer locally on your computer, you need to check this point in the mail service settings.

If Microsoft Outlook 2013 on your computer has become the successor to more early version, for example, version of Outlook 2010, and you have already used the program as an email client, you have nothing to worry about - the program will automatically find the configuration files. And the new version of the program will open with an already connected email account.

Setting up Microsoft Outlook 2013, unlike many email clients, is made easier by the fact that in most cases you will not need to configure mail server settings. Setting up Microsoft Outlook 2013 to work with email accounts takes place automatically using the IMAP protocol, which allows you to manage email on the mail service server without downloading it locally to your computer. And if you're just getting acquainted with Microsoft Outlook 2013 or are running the program on a specific computer for the first time, you can start working with it immediately after a simple walkthrough step-by-step wizard Outlook settings.

As mentioned earlier, Outlook can be used without a mailer, using other components of the program. To do this, in the program settings window you need to click “No” so as not to connect account mail. To connect the latter, accordingly, click “Yes”.

To automatically configure the mailer, you need to enter a minimum of data into the form fields - name, email address and password.

Immediately after connecting one email account, you can connect a second one by selecting the “Add another account” option. If this is not necessary, click “Finish” and we can already start working with the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client.

Microsoft Outlook 2013 is an application for working with electronic correspondence that combines the functions of a task scheduler and a contact manager. The capabilities of the latest version allow us to call it an indispensable assistant for owners of medium and large businesses.

Who needs to download Outlook 2013? For users who are constantly on the move and want to control all processes remotely, working with a whole set of equipment: laptop, office PC, tablet, smartphone. We will talk about the innovations in more detail later.
