Server error when logging into VKontakte. I can’t log into VKontakte (VK)? Why? Solving the problem

As a rule, users do not even realize that by starting the computer and opening the browser, they will not be able to load the “contact” Internet page...

In this article we will try to understand sequentially the most common reasons that cause this problem.

1. The main reasons why you can’t log into VKontakte

In general, there are 3 most popular reasons due to which ~95% of users cannot access VKontakte. Let's briefly talk about each of them.

1) Enter the wrong password or email

Most often, the correct password was simply forgotten. Sometimes users confuse their email because... they may have multiple mailboxes. Please check the entered data again carefully.

2) You caught a virus

There are viruses that block access to various sites: for example, to antivirus sites, to social networks, etc. How to remove such a virus will be described below; it cannot be described in a nutshell...

3) Your Internet page has been hacked

Most likely, you were also hacked with the help of viruses; first you need to clean your computer of them, and then restore access to the network.

2. Why is the password incorrect?

Many users have pages not only on one social network “Vkontakte”, plus add to this several email boxes and daily busyness... You can easily confuse one password for one service with another.

In addition, many sites on the Internet do not allow you to have easy-to-remember passwords and always force users to change them to their own generated ones. Well, of course, when before you easily accessed a social network by simply clicking on your favorites in the browser, after a month it would be difficult to remember your password.

To recover your password, click in the left column, right under the authorization lines, the item “forgot your password?”.

2) Update the database, and then check the entire PC (at least the system drive).

3) Pay attention, by the way, to what you have in and in your installed programs. Remove suspicious programs that you did not install. It’s just that very often, along with the programs you need, all sorts of add-ons are installed, which can embed various advertising blocks, interfering with your work.

4) By the way, a couple of interesting notes:

Removing "Webalta" from the browser -

3.1 Opening access to a contact

After you have cleaned your computer of various adware programs (they can also be classified as viruses), you can proceed directly to restoring the system. It’s just that if you do this without removing the viruses, there will be little use - very soon the Internet page on the social network will stop opening again.

1) You need to open Explorer and go to the address “C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc” (copy without quotes).

2) This folder contains a hosts file. We need to open it for editing and make sure that there are no unnecessary or suspicious lines in it.

To open it, simply right-click on it and select open with notepad. If after you open this file the picture is as follows, then everything is fine*. By the way, hash marks at the beginning of a line indicate that these lines are comments, i.e. Roughly speaking - simple text that does not in any way affect the operation of your PC.

*Attention! Virus writers are cunning. From personal experience I can say that at first glance there is nothing suspicious here. But if you scroll to the end of the text notepad, it turns out that at the very bottom, after a bunch of empty lines, there are “virus” lines that block access to sites. That’s exactly what happened...

Here we clearly see that the address of the VKontakte network is written, opposite which is the IP of our computer... By the way, please note that there are no hash marks, which means this is not just text, but instructions for the PC that it should download this site to the address 127.0.0.1. Naturally, this site does not exist at this address - and you cannot access Vkontakte!

What to do about it?

Just delete all suspicious lines and save this file... The file should be left with something like this:

After the procedure, restart your computer.

A couple of problems that may arise...

2. Alternatively, you can use the popular Total commaqnder program - in it, just select the hosts file and press the f4 button. Next, a notepad will open in which you can easily edit it.

3. If it doesn’t work, then just delete this file. Personally, I’m not a supporter of this method, but even it can help... Most users don’t need it, and those who do need it can easily restore it themselves.

3.2 Prevention

To avoid catching such viruses, follow a couple of simple tips...

1. Do not initially install any software of suspicious quality: Internet hacks, keys to programs, download popular programs from official sites, etc.

2. Use one of the popular antiviruses:

3. Try not to access the social network from other computers. It’s just that if on your own you are still in control of the situation, then on someone else’s computer the risk of being hacked increases.

5. If you have disabled automatic Windows updates, then from time to time check the system for important “patches” and install them “manually”.

It’s very disappointing when you manage to find time to communicate on the VKontakte social network, and on the screen of your smartphone or tablet, instead of your page, you see a message: “We were unable to log in due to problems with the Internet connection. Please check your network connection and try again." What’s most annoying is that everything is fine with the Internet. And you can even log in without any problems, but either through a mobile browser or through an unofficial client. But the official client stubbornly rejects all attempts by the user to log into his account. Sometimes it is still possible to redirect the application, and the official client begins to work normally on its own. But in some cases, the authorization error does not disappear anywhere - you have to look for ways to correct the situation. We will tell you about some of them today.

Solving the problem with Wi-Fi connection when DNS servers are not working correctly: :
This problem can occur if the DNS server cannot match the IP address of the device requesting information with the domain name of the resource (in this case vk.com) that you are accessing. This is the fault of the provider, or rather, its DNS servers, which do not work correctly. You can solve the problem as follows:
1) Connect to a Wi-Fi access point;

2) Long press “Wi-Fi Network”;

3) Select “Change network”;

4)
We see the name “Advanced settings”, put a tick in the window;

5) In the IP settings, select custom settings;

6) We see the DNS lines, and in these lines we register the DNS servers from Google (8.8.8.8)

* An easier way to solve this problem is to install the program on your smartphone or tablet and then select it in the settings GoogleDNS. The program is downloaded for free; superuser rights are not required to use it in the PRO version. When accessing the Internet via a Wi-Fi connection, in the router settings we specify as the DNS server 8.8.8.8 .

In most cases, this is enough for the error to disappear, and login to VKontakte is carried out as normal.

Clearing Hosts when using a mobile network or Wi-Fi:
The method of cleaning the hosts file gives good results. It is effective if the VKontakte resource has been blocked in some way. You can remove it as follows:
1) Download from Google Play and install ES Explorer on your device;
2) Go to “Settings”, then to Root rights, where we check the boxes “Root-explorer”, “Connect system folders” and “Root folder”;
3) Go to “/” -> “etc”, where we find the hosts file and open it (while holding down the “Open as..” -> Text -> ES Editor position).

4) We delete all the contents, leaving only one line: 127.0.0.1 localhost

5) We save and reboot the device - logging into VK through the official client should go without problems.

If you have the Freedom program on your tablet or smartphone:
1) Go to the Freedom program;
2) In Freedom, select Menu -> Stop.

* If you initially uninstalled Freedom, install it back temporarily.
3) Reboot the smartphone;
4) If the problem is not solved, remove the Freedom program;
5) We use the above method for cleaning Hosts;
6) Reboot the device.

None of these methods helped? Don’t be upset - in addition to the official VKontakte client, there are no less convenient alternatives: “Kate” and “Lynt”, which even surpass it in terms of functionality - try working with them and you won’t regret it.

Hello, dear readers of the blog site. Almost every resident of domestic countries aged 14 to 45 years old has and, if not constantly, then periodically visits it.

But various failures and violations often occur, due to which certain problems arise with loading pages and their contents.

Why does this happen and what are the ways to solve the problems? Why won't the contact load? and how to solve this problem? Why is the social network not working and there is no access to this site? More on all this later in the article.

Why is the contact not working?

A common question that interests many users is the following: why is the contact not working?? This is possible due to several reasons:

Why can’t I go to the VKontakte website?

You sat down at the computer, entered your information and... Login failed! After numerous login attempts, it becomes clear that it is impossible to access the site. Why? There are several reasons why such consequences are possible:

  1. Lost password or other login information. Maybe you're just you are typing the password incorrectly(in the wrong layout) or remembered it incorrectly. In this case, it is enough to check the language and character input mode. If everything was done correctly, but you still can’t log in, you can try via e-mail or during registration.
  2. Another answer to this question could be blocking your account in VK by site administrators. Perhaps your page contained prohibited materials or spam was sent from it - as a result, the page was blocked. If you think that your account has been blocked illegally, you can contact the administrators to resolve the issue in the “ Technical support ».
  3. It is possible that you have become a victim of a hack or malware. This is the most common reason why doesn't he log in to VK?. If you see messages that you need to send an SMS to a number or transfer money to an electronic wallet, then you can be sure that your page has been hacked or blocked by a virus. The solution to the problem is quite simple: install an antivirus and scan your computer, or, as an option, change your .
  4. Another reason why VK does not open is that the browser is not working correctly or access to the site is prohibited through the browser you are using. To solve the problem, you need to look at your browser settings (specifically in the section "Blocked content", in its settings). If the settings contain the VKontakte website, then you need to remove it from the list and you can try to access it again.

These are the most common reasons why why won't the contact load?. I hope that you have found the information you need and have identified the cause of your problems.

Good luck to you! See you soon on the pages of the blog site

“Can’t log into contact”, “VK profile has been hacked”, “account is blocked”, I can’t get into contact - asks for a phone number or activation code, and similar cries for help, followed by a question about what to do - are very popular in all online question and answer services known to me. In this article we will talk about simple ways to solve the problem when you cannot get in touch.

Your page has been hacked and spam is being sent from it

One of the most common options when a user cannot log into his page in contact is a message that his profile has allegedly been hacked, spam is being sent from the page, and in order to activate the page you need to enter your phone number or send an SMS message with a specific code. As a rule, people start looking for instructions after the sent SMS does not solve the problem, but only withdraws money from the phone. Another situation is when the site in contact simply does not open, giving errors 404, 403 and others. This is resolved and caused, as a rule, by the same reasons.

You should know the following things about “Page blocked” in contact:

The real reason you can't get in touch

As mentioned above, the reason that access to a contact is blocked is a malicious program (virus) that writes changes to the system network settings (usually in the hosts file) of the computer. As a result of this, when you enter vk.com, and often any other address of any social network, into the address bar, instead of this social network you end up on a “dummy site”, the main task of which is either to redistribute your money not in your favor, or use your contact password.

What to do if VKontakte is hacked

First of all, as we said, it was not hacked. And in fact, the problem is not at all terrible and can be solved in no time. As a rule, changes that prevent you from making contact are made by the virus to the hosts file, but this is not the only possible option. First, let’s look at the fastest and easiest way to access the site, and if it doesn’t help, then try using the ones described below in order.

1. Reset your computer’s network settings using the AVZ antivirus utility

First of all, try this method - it is faster than others (especially for novice users), usually helps to get in touch and does not require much understanding of how, where and what to fix in the hosts file and other places.

Download the free AVZ utility from this link (the link takes you to the official website). Unpack it and run it as Administrator. After that, in the main menu of the program, select “File” - “System Restore”. A window will open to restore system settings.

Check the boxes as shown in the picture, then click “Perform selected operations.” After restoring the system, restart your computer and try logging into the Contact site again. Let me note in advance that immediately after recovery using AVZ (before rebooting the computer), the connection to the Internet will most likely be lost, don’t worry, after rebooting Windows everything will be fine.

2. Correct the hosts file manually

If for some reason the method described above to get in touch did not help you, or you simply don’t want to download any programs, then the first thing you should do is return the hosts file to its original state.

How to fix the hosts file:

By default, the hosts file should look like this:

# (C) Microsoft Corp. 1993-1999 # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains mappings of IP addresses to hostnames. # Each element must be on a separate line. The IP address should # be in the first column, followed by the appropriate name. # The IP address and hostname must be separated by at least one space. # # Additionally, some lines may include comments # (such as this line), they must follow the node name and are separated # from it by a '#' character. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # origin server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # client host x 127.0.0.1 localhost

If below the standard part of the hosts file you see lines mentioning contacts or other social networks, simply delete them, then save the file and restart your computer. Then try to get in touch again. It is worth noting that sometimes changes made by a virus are specifically written after a large number of empty lines at the bottom of the hosts file. Be careful: if the file can be scrolled down in Notepad, do this.

3. Clean up Windows static routes

The next possible way to spread the scourge when you cannot get in touch is to write static routes in Windows. To clear them and bring them to the standard form, find the command line in the start menu, right-click on it and click “Run as Administrator”. After that enter the command route –f and press Enter. At this point, access to the Internet may be interrupted. Don't worry. Restart your computer and try logging into the VK website again.

4. Proxy server settings and automatic network configuration scenarios

The least likely, but still possible option for blocking a contact is for the virus to write automatic network configuration scripts or “left” proxies. In order to see if this is the case, go to the Windows control panel, select “Internet Options” (if suddenly there is no such icon, then first switch the control panel to the classic view), in the browser properties select the “Connections” tab, and In it, click “Network Settings”. Look what's in these settings. By default it should be set to "Automatically detect settings" and nothing else. If this is not the case for you, change it. You may also need to restart your computer.

In conclusion, if it suddenly turns out that none of the described methods helped, I recommend installing an antivirus (a good antivirus) and scanning the entire computer for viruses. You can also use the free 30-day version of, for example, Kaspersky. 30 days is enough for one complete scan of your computer and removal of viruses that prevent you from making contact.

If you carefully read this article, then 99% of you will get in touch and communicate with your friends. Every day on the Internet there are more and more cases when users cannot open the site in contact.ru, despite the fact that other sites work stably and always open. Why is this happening and how can I get the site back online? The answer to this question is obvious: Your computer was infected with a Trojan virus, which blocked access to the Vkontakte.ru website.

Attention! Today, July 27, 2014, the VKontakte website is unavailable due to an accident in one of the VKontakte data centers in St. Petersburg, caused by unprecedented heat.

When registering in contact.ru No need to send SMS! This is another scam of the virus out of your money. In this case, close the registration window and take measures to remove the virus.

Before all actions or call it recommendations what you want, you need to check your computer for viruses. To do this, use the free program from Kaspersky. If the program above does not help, then download this one, it was created just for you. Download .

If you urgently need to get in touch, then enter “93.186.225.211” - the contact’s address - into the address bar. Often this method helps to make contact.

What to do if you don’t make contact?

You can read below how to remove a virus from Kontatka.ru.

Finding the file hosts:

On Windows Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista and Windows 7:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts – the hosts file is located here

On Windows NT, 2000:

WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts – the hosts file is located here

Opening the hosts file for Windows 7 users:

In Windows 7, a regular user cannot edit this file. To open the hosts file with the ability to edit it, you need the following:

  1. Go to C:\windows.
  2. Find the notepad file.
  3. Open Notepad (file name notepad) as Administrator.

Right-click on Notepad and select Run as Administrator. When Notepad opens, click “File” - “Open File”. Go to the folder C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and click on the hosts file (double-click with the left mouse) or in the line file manually add hosts.

HOSTS won't open

If, when opening hosts, the “Select a program” window appears, then you need to select the Notepad program from the list and click the “OK” button.

Selecting a program in Windows XP, below is a screenshot as an example.

Selecting a program in Windows Vista and Windows 7, below is a screenshot as an example.

You can also open hosts by right-clicking on the hosts file and selecting "Open with" and selecting Notepad.

We delete unnecessary lines in hosts (remnants of the virus)

The hosts file should have something like this:

# Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Corp.), 1993—1999

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

# This file contains mappings of IP addresses to hostnames.

# Each element must be on a separate line. The IP address must

# should be in the first column and must be followed by the appropriate name.

# The IP address and hostname must be separated by at least one space.

# Additionally, some lines may contain comments

# (such as this line), they must follow the node name and be separated

# from it with the ‘#’ symbol.

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # origin server

# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # client node x

127.0.0.1 localhost

# - this symbol means that this line is not read by the system, we do not need to pay attention to this. You need to pay attention to lines that do not have this symbol. In this example we only have the string 127.0.0.1 localhost. If the file contains the lines vkontakte.ru, durov.ru or odnoklassniki.ru, then feel free to delete them, this will not cause any harm to your system.

When checking extra lines, be careful and check the entire document to the end. You must understand that only 127.0.0.1 localhost should remain. After deleting unnecessary lines, save the notepad file in the same folder where it was C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. Click on close notepad and confirm your intention to save the file “OK”.

The hosts file should not have the extension hosts.txt, it should simply be hosts. It is also possible that you cannot open the hosts file due to a virus that is blocking this action. To bypass the virus you need to reboot the system, press the F8 button while rebooting. A download selection will appear on the screen. Use the arrows to select “Safe Mode”.

When the system boots, go to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc, open hosts and remove the extra lines, see the instructions above. Sometimes deleting the entire hosts file can also help, but this is very rare. We reboot the computer. We go to the website vkontakte.ru. If we can’t log in, then we dig into the problem further.

Doesn't work in Kontatka.ru even after deleting hosts

We will look for the files vkontakte.exe and svc.exe:

Start -> Search -> Files and folders -> check the My Computer box.

Specify the file to search for vkontakte.exe and delete it. Then we also look for the svc.exe file and delete it. We reboot the computer.

After we have rebooted, we try to go to sites, open pages, and check the performance of the site on our computer. If everything is successful, use it for 2 minutes and reboot.

What to do if you don’t make contact? What to do if the above still doesn’t work?

1. I remind you that you need to check your computer with a free antivirus, here is the download link. This antivirus does not require installation and does not require a license.

2. You may need to clear the cache. Start -> Run -> enter cmd -> A window will open (black), you need to type ipconfig /flushdns, press Enter and reboot.

You can also use CCleaner. The program is free and requires installation on your computer. Link to CCleaner program http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner.

3. When you open hosts, there is a chance that you are opening the wrong file. To be more precise, the hosts that you open is actually part of the virus, and the real one is simply hidden. To remove unnecessary lines, you must first activate the display of hidden files. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance -> Folder Options -> Show hidden files and folders -> activate “Show hidden files”, located at the very bottom. Go here C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and look, if there are two hosts files, then open them, the file that contains extra lines, delete it. Or delete both hosts files and reboot the system.

For Windows 7 users it will not be possible to remove hotst; to do this you need to:

  • Open Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Run Command Prompt as Administrator (right mouse button “Run as Administrator”).
  • In the window that appears, write: net user Administrator /active:yes.
  • Then log out of your user, a new account named Administrator will appear. Go here C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and delete the hosts file that we don’t need.
  • To disable the Administrator account, enter net user Administrator /active: no.

4. If you think that your provider has really blocked you, then you can easily check at home. To do this you will need an anonymizer website. You can easily find such a site through any search engine by typing “anonymizer”. Enter your site and use it. There is also a downside to this action: the creator of the anonymizer site may be a bad person and wants to steal your passwords.

5. Try a different browser. Maybe your browser was also infected with a virus or was not removed from the browser cache. Just install another browser: Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Chrome.

As soon as you log into contact.ru, change your password! This must be done for your safety.

If there are questions in the comments that are answered in the article, they will be deleted (the page has become long). Read the article carefully! That's all for today. See you soon!
