We turn the laptop over and take out the plugs for the card reader and pcimci slot.

We take out the battery and unscrew the 8 screws of the cover of the pci-e-cards and memory compartment.

Remove the memory compartment cover and unscrew the two screws on the hard drive compartment.

We take out the hard drive.

Unscrew the screw holding the DVD drive.

We take out the DVD-drive and memory modules.

We take out the mini pci-e-cards, for this you need to unscrew the screw marked in red. In our case, there is only one card, but there can be three of them. In the Dell Inspiron 1525, you can install three mini pci-e cards, and there are 5 antennas in the laptop lid!

We take out the wires and unscrew the screws holding the cover over the keyboard, the display hinges and the upper part of the laptop case.

When assembling, the main thing is not to confuse where and which screws to tighten. Long, there are only two of them, with a red sealant screwed over the hard drive bay. Short ones, there are also 2 of them, hold the cover over the keyboard, screwed into the holes under the battery. The rest go to all the other holes.

It should look like this. This is where the work ends from below. We turn the laptop over.

Remove the overlay above the keyboard. We wrap the screwdriver with paper so as not to damage the plastic and carefully pry the cover.

Unscrew the two screws holding the keyboard under the cover.

We remove the keyboard.

Disconnect the keyboard. At the connector, you need to lift the black part with a screwdriver or fingernail (be careful, you can easily damage the ribbon cable), and then pull the ribbon cable out of the connector.

Then we open the connector holding the ribbon from the touch buttons on the panel above the keyboard. The connector (there are many of these in a laptop) can be easily opened with a screwdriver or with bare hands.

Then we easily remove the ribbon cable from the connector. On the cables in this laptop there are "tongues" for which it is convenient to get the cables out of the connectors. Unfortunately, not all "tongues" are well attached to their trains, which is rather strange.

We unscrew the holding screws, the cover hinges.

Disconnect the video cable and take out the antennas.

Remove the cover with the matrix. We put it away to the side, with the matrix down, so as not to damage it accidentally.

Disconnect the cable coming from the Bluetooth adapter.

Unscrew the screw holding the Bluetooth adapter and remove the adapter.

We open the bottom connectors.

There are only two of them.

We get the trains out of them.

It should look like this.

We unscrew the three screws holding the upper part of the case.

To remove the upper part of the case, you only need to unclip the 4 latches under the DVD drive.

We remove the upper part of the case.

Disconnect the ribbon cable from the touchpad buttons. A non-opening connector is used here.

Unscrew the two screws holding the touchpad buttons.

Still life. Buttons, bolts, upper case.

We continue with the lower part of the case. Remove the cover near the audio connectors. You just need to pull it towards yourself.

It is glued onto a piece of double-sided tape between the microphone and the right-most connector.

Disconnect the speaker connector.

We pry it off with a screwdriver and take it out with our hands.

We open the connector of the flat cable of the board with the power button.

We take out the train.

We unscrew the 4 screws holding the speakers and remove the speakers.

We remove the board with buttons.

Go to the bottom right edge. Unscrew the 3 bolts holding the expresscard adapter board.

We remove the fee.

Another still life.

We unscrew the two bolts on the power-on board of the network adapter.

We open the connector on the power-on board of the network adapter.

We take out the train.

Still life :)

We open the connector on the motherboard.

Disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard.

We turn the laptop over to remove the cooling system. To do this, unscrew 5 bolts.

We see the processor and chipset.

Here's a dirty radiator.

Not clogged very much.

We clean the radiator.

Here it is, clean and beautiful.

And on the other hand too.

We turn the laptop over and unscrew the 5 bolts holding the motherboard.

Disconnect the fan connector.

We take out the motherboard from the case. You need to be careful here, the motherboard is very thin in some places, it is better not to bend it too much, so as not to damage the tracks inside the board.

Unscrew the bolt holding the motherboard part.

Remove the part from the connector by gently wiggling the part.

Unscrew the two screws around the VGA connector.

We remove the sub-board with a power connector.

Unscrew the screw securing the modem to the connector.

Click on the modem in the place where it says "Press here" :)

Disconnect the modem from the motherboard.

Motherboard with all the pieces.

Unscrew 1 screw holding the fan.

We take out the fan to clean it.

Unscrew the 4 small screws on the fan housing.

Disassembled fan. A bit dirty.

We remove and clean the impeller. The impeller just needs to be pulled up.

Everything is going in reverse order :)

As a conclusion.
From the pros. I liked the assembly of the laptop, in general - everything is decent, good materials, well-fitted. The laptop has 3 mini pci-e connectors and a SIM card reader, it is easy to install a WiFiWiMax adapter, a 3GGPS modem, and there will still be room, for example, for an LTE adapter or mpeg decoder.
The disadvantages include a very thin motherboard, parts of which are easy to bend, and “tabs” on the cables, which are easy to tear off.
But for its price, this laptop is packed pretty well.
