Adobe Flash for Yandex. How to update the Adobe Flash Player extension for free in Yandex browser on Windows and Android

Adobe Flash Player is a technology created by Adobe for playing and creating multimedia content on the web. This platform is extensively used to create animated advertising images, web games, animation design, and audio and video player programming. Is one of most popular multimedia platforms despite the fact that many companies abandon it in favor of their products. At the same time, the developer company declared the technology obsolete in 2017 and plans to complete its support by 2020.

In the article you will find ways to configure and enable the flash player in different ways, in browsers such as Google Chrome, Yandex Browser, and in addition, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

Yandex Browser settings

Yandex.Browser runs on a redesigned engine from Google called Chromium and created by the Russian company Yandex.

Standard means

If you see a pop-up window saying that your flash player is disabled or not installed, then first you should check availability browser plugins adobe flash player in the plugins window:

Disabling the filter

Yandex.Browser has a built-in extension for blocking Adobe Flash, due to the fact that some developers abuse the capabilities of this technology, loading the computer.

Inclusion on the site

Sometimes, to turn on the flash player, you just need to click on the video window to launch Adobe Flash Player.

On other sites they write that the user needs to download Adobe Flash from the developer’s website or update their web browser.

Setting up Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a proprietary browser from Google. The program is currently one of the most popular in the world. All thanks to the speed of the web browser, which is achieved using the Chromium engine. Now other programs are also switching to this technology, since it is the most optimal.

  • Sometimes antivirus blocks addition. Check the list of programs blocked by your antivirus and, if necessary, add Flash to the exceptions.

Now you've learned how to disable and enable Adobe Flash technology for different browsers, as well as several additional solutions. We hope this article was useful to you.

Software developers provide programs with a basic set of preset parameters that are not always beneficial to the user. The same applies to Adobe Flash Player in the Yandex browser; the basic settings of the plugin are not suitable for everyone, so you often have to change the settings yourself. There are a lot of parameters that allow you to change the behavior of Flash Player: turn it on/off, make a list of exceptions, set permissions, etc.

How to change Flash Player launch settings in Yandex browser?

The most important and requested setting concerns the launch of the plugin. There are 3 ways to operate Flash Player in the Yandex browser:

  • Runs on all sites;
  • Works on sites added to the “white list” and not on the “black list”;
  • Doesn't launch anywhere.

It’s easy to configure turning Flash Player on and off in the Yandex browser:

For more demanding Adobe Flash Player users, the Yandex browser provides an exceptions function. Here we can configure which sites the plugin will not work on and where it will run.

Adding and excluding sites from lists:

Local configuration of Flash Player in Yandex browser

In addition to changing the module launch parameters, we can make changes to the very way Flash Player works in the Yandex browser. All settings are divided into 2 groups:

  1. Local. They operate on one website and can be reconfigured here;
  2. Global. Allows you to change the behavior on all resources that use the player.

The easiest way to replace local settings is to right-click on any flash element on the site and select “Options”. This way you can configure:

  • “Display” is a tab that allows you to enable hardware acceleration. It helps to process large amounts of data without freezing. We recommend keeping it turned on. Sometimes you have to turn off acceleration (if the player works poorly and slows down);
  • "Confidentiality". The tab provides an important setting for Flash Player for the Yandex browser - access to external devices for sound perception and video capture. We may block or allow camera and microphone access to this site;
  • Local storage. Most flash data requires storing the information on a computer in order to work. We can block the storage of information, but this will lead to incorrect operation of a number of sites. How applications use local storage:
    • To store the movie cache. The browser downloads the video a few minutes in advance, saving it to the computer. Mostly the data is stored in the cache, but some parameters are also added to the player;
    • To calculate and save user data in flash games. The storage contains certain achievements, constant values that make no sense to load regularly, numbers for calculating positions, damage, etc.;
    • For user authentication. A session identifier is recorded in local storage, allowing us to be identified even after moving to another page on the site or after a short absence from the resource.
  • Microphone. On the tab we can select which microphone is used as the main sound source, and also configure echo suppression and sound volume directly in the Yandex browser via Adobe Flash Player. By default, the volume is set to 50%;
  • Camera. Here we can set which camera the module will use.

Global settings for Adobe Flash Player in Yandex browser

On the official Macromedia website there is a page for setting general settings. If you add a change here, it will apply to all sites. The page will help us set things up correctly. We can also go to the desired location by right-clicking on the flash banner and selecting “Global settings”.

Some settings overlap with the previous paragraph, but there are also additional parameters.

What we can configure here:

  • « Global Privacy Settings" Implies permission to access the user's camera and microphone. There are 2 options: “Always ask...” and “Always prohibit”;
  • « Global Storage Options" Here we can set the amount of memory allocated for storing information by applications. By moving the slider, we can easily both disable the function and make the storage volume unlimited. Additionally, there is a setting to allow or block the addition of Flash content to the PC. In the “Save common Flash components...” column, it is better to check the box, this will help reduce the time it takes to load data;
  • « Global Security Settings" Sometimes for the player to work on a website, it is necessary to download data from another resource. Mostly the action does not lead to a security breach, but certain vulnerabilities are present. To ensure maximum security, it is better to disable the function;
  • « Playing protected content" Some materials are protected from distribution by copyright. By default, Adobe players store licenses on the computer and use them while processing protected data. If there is a failure with license processing, we can “Reset” the storage data, and their collection will begin again;
  • « Website privacy settings" We can prohibit or allow individual sites to use a microphone or camera. On the tab, select the site and set permissions;
  • « Website Storage Options" The setting is similar to global, but allows you to configure access to local storage for each resource individually. Additionally, on the page we can study the amount of space used by each site;
  • « Peer-to-peer network settings" A number of sites use the P2P protocol to download content, that is, data is downloaded from the computers of other participants in the system. The protocol helps reduce the load on resource servers. We can prohibit or allow the opportunity for individual sites.

Important! If the settings panel is not displayed in place of the flash content, you need to launch the plugin. We should right click on the problem area and select “Run this module”.

In general, there are quite a lot of settings; everyone can personalize the module and make it as effective as possible. For example, in addition to the listed parameters, we can configure Flash Player in the Yandex browser to work on old, low-power computers by setting the image quality. Having made RMB on the flash player, hover the cursor over “Quality” and select “Low”, “Medium” or “High”.

Outdated software is one of the most common causes of failures in individual programs and the entire Windows system. Modern browsers also experience crashes more often than other applications, especially when using specific plugins. Often malfunctions relate to Flash content processed in the Yandex browser, and one of the first ways to solve the problem is to update the Flash Player. If the plugin is outdated, it makes sense to download an upgrade and update the add-on; this is usually the easiest and most effective way to solve problems.

The most common reason for updating a module is to improve the comfort of using a number of sites due to the ability to view Flash content on the page. The Flash Player addon for the Yandex web browser is responsible for processing various animations: videos, games, banners, animated screensavers, etc. Today, most sites are switching to HTML5 players, but the flash player has not yet lost its relevance.

What will happen if you do not update Adobe Flash Player in Yandex browser:

  • The animation will begin to slow down, slow down or lag;
  • A vulnerability appears in the system. Most updates are released to close security holes. With the old security system, Windows may get viruses or spyware;
  • The amount of resources spent will increase. Technologies are constantly becoming more complex and new ways of processing content are being released to reduce resource costs. Using an outdated Adobe player, processing simple videos will require 20-50% more processor resources and RAM;
  • Some sites will stop opening, work with old players, and will constantly ask you to update Flash in the Yandex browser. To keep up with the demands of modern people, web resource developers use advanced player functions. Old versions simply do not have the necessary functionality, so programmers abandon them;
  • Compatibility conflicts appear. Some software can cause Flash Player to crash in the Yandex browser, so the developers themselves recommend updating the plugin to restore all functions.

There is often an opinion that updating Flash Player in the Yandex browser is useless, because visual changes are not visible. Innovations are still present: increased productivity (5-20% is not easy to notice), added features, elimination of vulnerabilities, etc. Considering that we can update Flash Player in the Yandex browser absolutely free, without registration, there are practically no compelling reasons to refrain from this procedure.

Important! Flash plugin for Android for Yandex browser does not work starting from version 4.1. It is not possible to install, update and perform other manipulations with the Flash plugin in the Yandex browser for Android. On smartphones with a modern mobile platform, the technology was abandoned due to its potential vulnerability.

Is it worth downloading the latest version of the plugin all the time?

There is a second extreme as opposed to users who refuse updates altogether - downloading all the latest upgrades. The newly released Adobe Flash Player plugin for Yandex browser is not always better than the previous one, at least in the beta version. New versions are more likely to experience crashes immediately after updates are released.

The best solution is to download only stable versions of updates that have passed alpha and beta testing. They were tested not only by the company’s testers, but also by users who downloaded the new version immediately after the application was released. Based on reports from the add-on, appropriate adjustments were made.

How to update Shockwave Flash in Yandex browser?

Not long ago, Yandex browser completely switched to working with the integrated Flash Player plugin. It is installed on the system independently of the main Adobe platform. When installed in Windows, Flash Player exists separately from the plugin embedded in the browser from Yandex. Any changes, updates and additions to the platform will not bring changes to the browser; here you should follow a different path.

We can update Flash Player for free in the Yandex browser in three ways, but each is associated with pros and cons:

  1. An easy way is to update the entire browser at the same time; advantages: fast, simple and effective.
  2. An alternative is to try to manually replace the files, but this is risky, but it won't require you to update your browser.
  3. The last option is to install an older web browser that allows you to manage plugins, install the Adobe platform, and enable an external module instead of the built-in one.

Updating Adobe Flash Player with Yandex browser

The extension is built into the browser, so all player updates come along with browser upgrades. If you update the Yandex browser, the Flash Player upgrade will be downloaded additionally and absolutely free of charge.

How to download a new version of the Flash Player extension with the Yandex browser:

If your system has a high firewall security level, you may need to confirm the upgrade.

How to manually update the Adobe Flash Player plugin in the Yandex browser?

The method is somewhat more complicated and does not always lead to the desired result, but it often helps. Its essence is to replace outdated files with new ones. We recommend this method to those users who do not want to update their browser.

How to update the Adobe Flash Player extension in Yandex browser:

  1. Open Explorer and follow the path C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and add the file FlashPlayerApp.exe (download here).
  2. Go to the Macromed directory.
  3. We look for the Flash folder, if it exists, we replace the files with new ones or create a directory of the same name. We can find suitable files here.
  4. Open the registry editor in Windows.
  5. Register the main dll file. Let's go along the way Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Compatibility Assistant\Store. Add a value with a name C:\Windows\SysWOW64\FlashPlayerApp.exe by right-clicking, hovering over New, and selecting Binary Parameter. We copy the value from nearby rows and paste it here (see picture).
  6. Adding a section as a handler Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Macromedia\FlashPlayerPepper. If there is no section, create it. In it we create a parameter of string type (RMB->Create->String parameter). The name is PlayerPath and the value is the path to the file ( C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\pepflashplayer32_30_0_0_154.dll).
  7. In the Macromedia directory in the FlashPlayerActiveX section (if not, create it) create a parameter of the stock type PlayerPath with the value C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\Flash.ocx.

Important! The browser must be closed at the time of performing the manipulations. It is also worth checking the “Task Manager”, which opens by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del, for the presence of Yandex.exe processes. If they exist, we terminate the processes.

Connecting an external Flash Player extension to the old Yandex browser

How to update Flash Player if Yandex browser requires a new version:

Before updating Flash Player from Adobe in the Yandex browser, we recommend checking which version is current today. The easiest way to find out the version is to go to the page official website, and on another page we can set the basic settings and permissions for the installed plugin.

Adobe Flash Player is widely used for creating banners, animations, videos, as well as playing full video or music on websites, etc. Sooner or later, problems arise in its operation. The user's task is to return dynamic content to the browser.

Why do you need Adobe Flash Player components?

Having announced the imminent abandonment of software technologies based on Flash Player, Adobe greatly excited browser plug-in developers with this news. The Adobe Flash Player software is built into the Chromium engine, in particular into Yandex.Browser, and without it, browser plugins cannot work.

Modern CMS engines for websites work on a Flash basis. Examples of this are WordPress, Joomla, IPB, SMF scripts and dozens of others like them. The original engines of social networks Odnoklassniki, Mail.Ru, VKontakte and others are not without Flash technologies. They also operate the resources of Yandex, Rambler and dozens of other portals, as well as thousands of popular publications. Without the Flash Player plugin, at best, text versions of the above projects would be displayed, with almost no interactivity.

The disadvantage of Flash Player is the security vulnerability of both sites and the user's browser.

Why doesn't Flash Player work in Yandex Browser?

Adobe Flash Player may suddenly fail for various reasons - from incorrect settings of the plug-in and browser itself to actions on the part of other programs that directly or indirectly affect their joint work.

There is no Adobe Flash plugin in the browser

Although the Adobe Flash Player plug-in is integrated into Yandex.Browser, it can be accidentally removed, for example, due to security holes in the browser/site, browser slowness, insufficient PC/tablet performance, sites overloaded with Flash banners, etc.

Checking the functionality of Adobe Flash in Yandex.Browser

To make sure Flash Player is installed and working, do the following:

  1. Open the browser itself.

    For further settings of Flash Player, Yandex.Browser must be running

  2. In the web address input line, enter the command “browser://plugins” and press Enter.

    Enter the internal web address of the Yandex.Browser plugins

  3. The list of plugins should indicate the version of Flash Player - this indicates the presence of the plugin. If there is one, leave this page.

    The current version of Adobe Flash must be clearly indicated in Yandex.Browser

  4. If the Adobe Flash Player plugin is not listed, install it.

    No information about the version of Flash Player available

The Adobe Flash Player plugin is included with each version of Yandex.Browser. It is better to reinstall the plugin simultaneously with reinstalling the browser itself according to one of the instructions below.

Adobe Flash Player is not active

Accidental disabling of the Flash Player plugin most often occurs due to the user's fault. To check the status of Adobe Flash, do the following:

Incorrect installation of the Flash Player plugin

The Flash Player plugin itself cannot be installed incorrectly, just as the same application cannot be installed twice for any operating system.

Such applications do not include those whose different versions are designed to complement each other. For example, the Net.Framework engine for Windows.

Each new version of Adobe Flash Player replaces the old one.

Conflict between different versions of the Adobe Flash plugin

A conflict between different versions (dual installation) of Adobe Flash may occur for the following reason. The obsolete NPAPI (Netscape Plugin API) technology for displaying active content, once created for the Netscape Navigator browser, has been replaced in the Adobe Flash Player plug-in with its more modern continuation PPAPI (Pepper Plugin API), promoted by Google together with Adobe. Accordingly, the latest versions of the Flash Player plugin can be installed “next to” older ones.

To disable one version of Adobe Flash Player and enable another, do the following:

Try to use the latest version of Adobe Flash Player that supports both NPAPI/PPAPI technologies. It is more stable. Two or more versions of Flash Player, if forced to switch frequently, can confuse the user and slow down his work.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash using Windows

To eliminate the consequences of errors that occurred immediately when running Adobe Flash or after some time, the engine itself is completely reinstalled in Windows itself. This solves the following problems:

  • lack of sound when watching online videos, for example, on YouTube;
  • choppy playback, slowdown of videos and animations on websites;
  • displaying a simplified, text version of the site (purely in HTML layout, without design, but with ordinary pictures).

Before checking whether the Adobe Flash plugin is active in Yandex Browser, reinstall the Flash Player program itself. To do this, do the following:

  1. Click Start, select Control Panel from the Windows main menu, then go to Programs and Features.

    Select a software tool to install and remove programs and OS components

  2. To remove Adobe Flash programs (most often there are two of them - the plugin itself with support for NPAPI technology and the engine for ActiveX active content in Internet Explorer), select each of them and click the “Delete” button.

    Select the component to remove and click the remove button

  3. Confirm the request to remove Adobe Flash (if any) and wait for the removal procedure. Restart Windows.
  4. Go to adobe.com and get the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player installer.

    Choose the Adobe Flash plugin version that suits you best

  5. In the downloads section of get.adobe.com, click the confirmation button to download the Adobe Flash online installer. Stop installing McAfee antivirus.

    Click on the Adobe website to start installing Flash Player

  6. Wait for the updated Adobe Flash Player to download and install.

    Adobe Flash must not only download, but also install

  7. Restart Windows again and update the problematic page in Yandex Browser.

The Yandex.Browser version is not relevant

Checking Yandex.Browser updates makes sense when:

  • the browser itself has not been updated for a long time - a year or more - and auto-checking for new versions was initially (after installation) turned off by you;
  • a number of plugins failed, in particular, Adobe Flash began to produce constant errors on any sites using dynamic graphics;
  • a gap has appeared in the security line of Yandex.Browser (accounts on social networks and online versions of instant messengers are hacked; in none of the payment systems and in any bank is it possible to send/receive money through your “personal account”, which is what data sites warn about organizations);
  • Websites do not open or work poorly (necessary functions and menus are missing).

The penultimate of the reasons listed, by the way, is the most motivating: we are talking about your personal and commercial security on the Internet.

Yandex Browser update (without reinstallation)

Updating the browser through the built-in wizard in the application itself allows you to change the program version to the latest one. To update Yandex.Browser, do the following:

  1. Go to the command “Menu - Advanced”.

    Go to the additional submenu to get to the Yandex.Browser update

  2. Select "About Browser".

    Go to the information panel about the version of Yandex.Browser and its update

  3. The browser will request information about updates from the browser.yandex.ru website. If the update is available, the Update button will appear. Click it.

    Click the start update button in Yandex Browser

  4. The browser will notify you that the update was successful.

    Return to sites where dynamic graphics were displayed incorrectly after the browser reports a successful update

Now go to the site where the problem with displaying Flash content persisted.

Complete reinstallation of Yandex.Browser

Removing the old and installing the updated version of Yandex.Browser includes:

  • closing Yandex Browser processes in the Windows Task Manager;
  • uninstalling the current browser version on Windows;
  • downloading and reinstalling the new Yandex Browser.

Reinstalling the browser from scratch allows you to get rid of the “remains” of the old version, which may interfere with the operation of the new one. Do the following:

  1. Launch Windows Task Manager using the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Del or Ctrl + Esc + Win. Go to the “Processes” tab, right-click on any of the “browser.exe” processes (if there is more than one) and select “End Process Tree”. You can also click on the “End process” item.

    Select the Windows process of interest and end it

  2. If you haven't had many tabs open, simply close the application from the Task Manager. Go to the “Applications” tab, select “Yandex.Browser” and click the “End task” button.

    Use the end task button as a replacement for the close button in Yandex.Browser

  3. Click “Start” and select “Control Panel” from the Windows main menu.

    "Control Panel" opens from the main menu in all versions of the OS

  4. Select the Programs and Features toolkit.

    Open this item to remove/replace programs of interest

  5. Find the program “Yandex.Browser”, Yandex or Yandex.Browser (depending on the browser version), click the “Delete” button above the list of available applications (or right-click and select “Delete”).

    Click on the button (or menu item) to remove the application

  6. Confirm the removal of the browser by clicking the “Delete” button.

    Click the Yandex.Browser removal button

  7. Confirm the deletion of Yandex.Browser again. If you use synchronization of your personal data with your mail account on the Yandex portal, delete all settings of the uninstalled browser.

    Click the “Yandex.Browser” delete button again

  8. Yandex.Browser will be uninstalled. Restart Windows.
  9. Go from any other browser (for example, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox) to the browser.yandex.ru website and click the “Yandex.Browser” download button on the site.

    Click the browser download button

  10. Windows will ask you to save the file. Select a folder on any of the drives and click the “Save” button. The current browser will download the file.

    Wait until the file “yandex.exe” (or “yandexbrowser.exe”) is downloaded

  11. Run the downloaded file “yandex.exe”.

    Run the file that will help install the browser

  12. The Windows system first requests permission to run programs downloaded from the Internet. Click the "Run" button.

    Confirm the launch of the Yandex.Browser package by clicking the corresponding button

  13. Click on the “Start using” button. Yandex.Browser will be installed again.

    Click the button to start using Yandex.Browser

  14. Launch the newly reinstalled Yandex.Browser and check for a working (and updated) version of the Adobe Flash Player plug-in according to the instructions above.
  15. Return to the problematic site and check the display of Flash animations and videos with which you previously experienced difficulties.

The problem with Adobe Flash may be successfully resolved.

Outdated version of Java component

Not only Adobe Flash is responsible for displaying active graphics on websites. Java scripts are also responsible for interactivity on the Internet (interaction between the Internet server and the user). Unlike the PHP script/script, which is the main handler of user requests on the website and works strictly within the server, they are downloaded to the user’s PC or mobile device along with the output HTML page. The full version of the same page, in addition to pictures and animations, contains auxiliary *.js files that contain additional functions in the form of extended menus, sidebars, soft buttons, checkboxes and switches, highlighting when hovering the mouse pointer, etc. Without Java sites would not have become what they are today.

Checking the activity of Java technology in Yandex.Browser

To make sure the Java plugin is currently running, do the following:

  1. Launch "Yandex.Browser" and execute the command "Menu - Settings".

    Go to the general settings of Yandex.Browser to check the operation of Java technology

  2. Click the "Show advanced settings" button. A complete list of browser settings and capabilities will be displayed below.

    Click the button to display advanced settings of Yandex.Browser

  3. In the “Personal Data Protection” column, click the “Content Settings” button.

    Check that JavaScript is enabled in Yandex Browser

  4. If JavaScript was disabled (or limited to a list of exclusion sites), please enable it. Click the "Finish" button and restart Yandex.Browser.

Updating Java Programs

The best way to update Java is to completely remove the engine from your PC and reinstall it. To do this, do the following:

  1. Open "Programs and Features" through the "Control Panel" and find the "Java X Update X" application (where X is the version number of the software and its patch/update package).

    Click the exit button from the installer

  2. Restart Windows and launch Yandex Browser again. Check that the Adobe Flash Player plugin is working correctly.

PC hardware incompatibility with Adobe Flash version

Failures at the hardware level, resulting in errors in the operation of the Adobe Flash plug-in, indicate an irreparable incompatibility of PC and Windows components with already installed applications. Fortunately, you can turn off hardware acceleration, which is designed to reduce the load on the Flash Player plugin.

Adobe Flash Player will switch to a more stable operating mode.

Errors on site pages

When all of the above measures to eliminate Flash Player failures do not produce results, the reason is obvious - the owner and/or administrator of the site did not take care of the correct display of the dynamic graphics of their resource.

Disadvantages of the hosting used for the site

The disadvantages of hosting can be considered from the point of view of both the owner and the site visitor:

  • Some features and functions of the PHP programming language are not included in the basic tariff package for site owners (or the site owner did not pay for these services separately). If you are the owner of the site, change the tariff or hoster.
  • The hoster software is not updated - untimely transition to newer versions of PHP and MySQL programs, for example, the hoster is not popular enough, has not fully developed due to the lack of income received. If you are a site visitor, look for alternative sites on your topic where problems with Flash content are not observed.

Problems with the website engine

The developer of the engine (CMS) for websites (for example, WordPress) has not yet taken into account the corrections and updates of Adobe Flash Player and Java Runtime implemented in their next releases. If you are a webmaster (including those working on custom websites), update the engine for the site or use an alternative one (for example, based on Joomla), which completely solves the goals and objectives of the customer and satisfies the needs of his audience.

Other problems with Flash Player

In addition to the problems with Adobe Flash described above, the operation of this plugin (and its other software components at the Windows level) may be affected by the following reasons:

Problems with Adobe Flash Player can be easily fixed. The main thing is to figure out the errors of the plugin and Yandex Browser itself using the method of elimination.

Computers have long and firmly entered our lives. However, while enjoying all the benefits of progress, we often don’t even imagine how it all works. For example, if you are not an advanced computer specialist, you may not know what a flash player plugin is, how to update it, or why you should do it at all.

What is the Adobe Flash Player plugin

Flash Player is a special program that allows you to play Flash content: video and audio recordings, games, animation, etc. Currently, the most common Adobe program runs on the Adobe Systems multimedia platform. To view Flash content in browsers, an independent program module called a plugin is used. It is installed in the form of special libraries, and therefore does not have an executable exe file; in other words, it cannot be used as an independent program outside the browser. Unlike some popular browsers, for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Flash Player is integrated into the Yandex environment by default, meaning there is no need to install it additionally.

Why do you need an update?

Any software becomes outdated over time, and errors and vulnerabilities may appear in its operation. To ensure proper operation, Adobe is developing new, more secure and functional versions of the program. Users are recommended to update the flash player to the latest version in order to avoid these same errors and malfunctions.
