Main functions. Main functions From simple to complex - we draw three-dimensional objects

You don't need any special skills to draw with a 3D pen. In children, the magic marker develops motor skills, imagination and spatial thinking. By purchasing it for professional activities, you will be able to create three-dimensional models right in front of the customer. The devices are useful even in everyday life, helping to glue and repair plastic objects.

Everyone, from five-year-old kids, shows interest in 3D pens. It’s so interesting to create drawings that “come to life” before your eyes. Moreover, even the lack of drawing skills is not a problem. With the help of stencils and templates, you can easily make not only a simple toy, but also make a working model of a car or build a model of an entire city.

If this is your first time working with devices

For volumetric modeling, it is better to do a little testing before starting work:

  1. Connect the power cable.
  2. Wait for the indicators on the case to notify you that they are ready for work and that the desired temperature has been reached (change color).
  3. Insert the plastic into the loading slot.
  4. Move the thread speed button to the desired position.
  5. Place the gadget in working position.

Now you can try switching the plastic feed speed to understand the principle of the process: the higher it is, the thicker the resulting image lines.

What can you draw with a 3D pen?

With a 3D marker you can draw literally anything:

  • toys;
  • objects around us;
  • costume jewelry;
  • accessories;
  • layouts and models of real objects and things;
  • sculptures and portraits.

Starting with simple shapes, you will be able to create real masterpieces in the future.

How to use a 3D pen

Products from the well-known manufacturer MyRiwell are very popular. They fit comfortably in the hand, are light in weight and easy to operate. In addition to decent performance qualities, 3D Myriwell gadgets are distinguished by their original design and affordable price. The consumable material is ABS or PLA plastic.

The standard set is packed in a box along with a pen:

  • instructions and warranty card;
  • stencils for drawing;
  • set of consumables (3 colors);
  • charger (12 V).

With the help of 3D pens, skilled hands can create amazing three-dimensional things. A little practice and everything will work out!

For example, let's look at how to draw a house with a 3D pen

  • The most primitive option that kids draw: mark a rectangular base on a piece of paper, draw vertical lines through the air from its corners and connect it all with a roof.
  • A more “adult” three-dimensional house is easiest to draw using a stencil, filling the contours of the parts with layers of plastic. Then glue all the elements together using a 3D marker.
  • Another, more complex way to create three-dimensional figures. Here you can feel like a real architect. Using a 3D marker, we draw a reliable foundation for the future house on a sheet of paper. We create the frame of the building from paper.

- a device that allows you to draw three-dimensional figures. But before you start creating three-dimensional masterpieces, you need to learn how to use the device. It is advisable to watch a video about working with a 3D pen and read the instructions included with the device.

Getting started

After removing the device from the box, you need to make sure that all the elements of the 3D pen are in place. The user must have the device itself, a wire to connect it to the power supply, and plastic for drawing. You also need to figure out what each button on the gadget’s body is for.

Standard set of buttons, indicators and connectors

  • Power indicator.
  • The illuminated LED indicates that the device is connected to the mains.
  • Indicator that the device is ready for drawing.
  • Lights up when the handle reaches operating temperature.
  • Connector for loading plastic filament.
  • It is located at the top of the device. Therefore, the material loaded into the device does not interfere with the user’s drawing.
  • Cable connector.
  • Located at the top of the device. How to connect the power source is described in detail in the instructions, which are included in all boxes.
  • Plastic forward button.
  • When you press it, the thread is fed into the nozzle and squeezed out.
  • Plastic thread return button.
  • Unloads thread from the device. The peculiarity of the button is that it does not work immediately. It must be held for several seconds. The delay is made to avoid the situation of the plastic being returned due to accidental pressing of the button.
  • Temperature regulator.
  • The user can independently increase and decrease the melting temperature of the thread. As a rule, all knobs have buttons: “+” to increase and “–” to decrease.
  • A button or slider for switching the feed speed of plastic thread.
  • The operating principle of a 3D pen provides the ability to create both thin and wide strokes. To get a thin line, the device must operate at low speed; if you need to draw a thick line, the speed needs to be increased.

After the user becomes familiar with the basics of using a 3D pen, he can begin creating drawings.

But first you need to do some preparatory work:

  1. Connect the power cable.
  2. Wait until the device heats up; the indicator on the body will notify you of this.
  3. Insert a thread of the selected color into the plastic compartment.
  4. Select the plastic feed speed during operation.
  5. Start drawing.

Features of working with the device

For beginners, the technique of working with a 3D pen may seem difficult due to the rapid hardening in air. In addition, it is impossible to recommend the same plastic heating temperature that would suit all users. Choosing the optimal filament heating and feeding speed comes with practice.

After heating the device, do not touch its nozzle - there is a risk of getting burned. Therefore, the instructions on how to use a 3D pen indicate that you cannot touch it while working. But the plastic, after leaving the nozzle, cools quickly, but remains plastic for some time.

Operating principle of the device

The operating principle of a 3d pen is simple. After turning on the device and filling it with working material, the plastic thread is heated. When you press the plastic feed button, it comes out with a thin thread under pressure. After leaving the nozzle, the working material hardens as it is exposed to cold ambient air.

Even though the drawing device is durable, you need to know how to use a 3D pen correctly so as not to break it. One of the most common breakdowns is plastic getting stuck inside the device. This usually happens because the user has lost all the thread in the pen or has not adjusted the temperature. It is important not to allow the entire thread to go into the handle; when you have 2-3 centimeters left, you need to pull out the remaining thread and insert a new one. You also need to pay attention to what type of plastic you are drawing and remember to switch the temperature if you use different types. If these rules are not followed, a breakdown may occur and you will have to go to a service center. If you draw a lot, then after some time the nozzle of your pen may become clogged, which can be cleaned using a special
