VPN plugins for Firefox. Browsec VPN for Yandex browser - universal access Free VPN for Opera browser

Almost every Internet resource that is actively visited by users collects data about us. Often these data are used for analytics: they receive information about age, gender, location, etc. With the help of such tracking, they can also impose a ban on visiting certain sites (regional restrictions or blocking by IP). Personal data is not collected in this case.

To ensure anonymity on the network, "anonymizers" are used. It can be either a separate browser (for example, Tor), or special programs. But what if you are used to working with one browser and have no desire to switch to others? There is a way out - connect the Browsec extension.

About extension

Browsec VPN is an extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Yandex Browser that provides anonymity on the web.

  1. Encrypts Internet traffic, redirecting it through cloud storage.
  2. Hides the IP address, thereby allowing you to bypass the blocking of regional restrictions or sites.
  3. Hides your real location and improves privacy, thereby disorienting data-gathering analytics programs.

The add-on is easy to learn and does not require any knowledge. The interface is intuitive. Debugging Browsec has been done for every popular browser.

Browsec VPN for Google Chrome

Open a browser. To install an extension:

Browsec VPN for Firefox

For installation:

Yandex browser

Since Yandex and Google used the Chromium base for their browsers, extensions from the Chrome store also work in the domestic browser.

In the current realities of the Internet, users are increasingly forced to resort to using . And this is not at all surprising, because with its help you can visit your favorite sites containing adult content or your favorite movies - resources, torrents, and recently the most popular social networks.

To date, the easiest way to get to your favorite resource is to use a VPN for Firefox or any other browser, since you only need to install an extension to use it. In addition, it allows you to filter traffic consumed directly by the web browser itself, and not by the entire computer system as a whole. If you still do not understand how it works, then just take a look at the picture below.

You can also access it by:

  1. Click on the icon in the form of three horizontal lines, located in the upper right corner.
  2. Go to the "Get Addons" tab and scroll to the very bottom of the page until you find the "View More Addons!" button. After clicking on it, the add-ons store will open.

To find a VPN extension for Firefox, you just need to enter the word "vpn" in the search field and click on the green arrow. After that, you will have a list of all extensions available for installation, among which there are only three worth highlighting.

Installing and configuring AnonymoX for Mozila Firefox

To install this VPN extension, like any other, you need to click on the "Add to Firefox" button.

After downloading the AnonymoX addon, you must confirm its installation by clicking on the appropriate button.

Check out three good reasons - why you shouldn't use Mozilla FireFox VPN extensions -

An icon in the form of the letter "X" will appear in the menu bar, by clicking on which you can make settings, as well as enable the extension itself - to do this, simply drag the slider after going to the desired site.

Despite the fact that AnonymoX for Mozila Firefox is an English-language extension, its interface is quite simple and allows you to quickly navigate through the settings. So, switching between servers is carried out in just one click, in addition, the flag of the selected server will always be displayed in the browser. Among other things, the extension is able to delete cookies of a specific site or all visited resources, as well as to replace "".

Among the minuses, only a meager selection of servers available for use in the free version can be noted.

Installing and configuring Hide My IP VPN for Mozilla

Installing the Hide My IP VPN extension is no different from the one described above - click on the "Add to Firefox" button, and after downloading, confirm the installation.

Upon completion of the installation, an extension icon will appear in your browser, which you should click on and log in, or go through the registration procedure.

After you enter your email and , as many as 80 gateways will be available to you, but only for a couple of days. To activate any of them, you need to move the adjacent slider.

The connection speed is acceptable and it is quite enough to surf social networks or browse various sites, except for the "cine".

Of the advantages of the Hide My IP VPN extension, apart from a large number of available servers, comfortable speed and the ability to enter your own proxy list, unfortunately, there is nothing more to note.

Hoxx VPN Proxy for Firefox - how to install and configure

Hoxx VPN Proxy differs from other addons from the very first seconds - this is its multilingualism, which will undoubtedly please users who do not speak foreign languages.

After the language is selected, the user is prompted to log in or register a new account. Registration, however, takes a little longer than we would like, but this is not critical.

You must enter a real email address, as it will receive a password from the account.

The Hoxx VPN Proxy interface is extremely simple and understandable even to a schoolboy. A large number of available gateways and quite acceptable speed make this extension one of the best. For an additional fee, you can use private servers located in Germany and other foreign countries.

Perhaps this is one of the best shareware VPN for Firefox, but my opinion may not coincide with yours, but it is still worth considering this extension as the main one.

In conclusion, I would like to note that not all VPN extensions for Mozilla are described above, so I strongly recommend that you study the entire list in the Lisa online store.

The Internet, although it is a global network covering the entire globe with wires and satellite connections, still has its limitations not only in terms of the speed of data transfer from resources to user personal computers, but also in a number of restrictions on access to some sites. This may be due to the categorical nature of copyright holders who close some countries or regions access to their content or political differences between different parties. Also, restrictions on visiting some Internet portals may be introduced by system administrators of companies or providers, due to corporate policy or from a security point of view. Some of these prohibitions and restrictions can be bypassed using the FireFox VPN extension.

A technology that provides a network at a logical level over an Internet connection (vpn for Mozilla) allows you to get what you want by replacing the user's IP address with an address belonging to another country. Becoming a wolf in sheep's clothing, the user gets access to Internet resources that were previously inaccessible for a number of reasons.

How to enable VPN in Mozilla

There is no built-in VPN function in the search engine. But, it is not for nothing that the browser is famous for the largest number of various add-ons from various authors from large companies or just single enthusiasts compatible with this search engine. It is possible to choose a vpn extension for Firefox from a huge list offered, sorted according to different criteria.

To select the extension you need, you need to go to the settings menu in the upper right corner of the open browser and select the "Add-ons" tab or use the key combination "Ctrl + Shift + A".

In the search on the page with add-ons, type the keyword "VPN" and perform the action by clicking on the green arrow.

Depending on the version of the operating system of the personal computer and the version of the browser, many additional applications that perform the function of a virtual private network (VPN) will appear in the search results.

The user can sort them according to the degree of relevance to the request, by the number of downloads by different users, by rating, by novelty, as well as by name, weekly downloads, recently updated and new additions.

After reading the reviews and functionality, it is enough to install the application you like for the FireFox browser and calmly visit previously closed resources.

Browsec VPN for Yandex browser is a special extension for accessing blocked resources! Today we will tell you how to use Browsec VPN!

The list of sites blocked in Russia, where web resources with pornography, information about drugs, opposition Internet sources, online casinos, betting services, and other gambling sites were previously sent, is now rapidly replenished with torrent trackers and media resources charged under the decision courts in the distribution of pirated content. In particular, it is already a fact that the most popular Runet torrent trackers Rutracker and Rutor are blocked in Russia.

At the same time, Roskomnadzor does not see a violation of the current legislation of the Russian Federation by each of the users who use various methods and tools to bypass blocking sites. So we can, without a twinge of conscience, begin to consider one of the many ways to access blocked sites. This article will focus on the VPN Browsec extension, which is designed to bypass site blocking and is built into all popular browsers:

  • Chrome;
  • Mozilla Firefox;
  • Opera;
  • Yandex browser.

About the VPN Browsec extension

VPN Browsec offers the simplest way to bypass blocking sites. You do not need to set up any VPN connections, search the Internet for a working anonymizer, install special software for changing the IP address in the operating system, and put up with slow Tor. You just need to install one small extension.

Located on the browser toolbar, VPN Browsec is always on the hook, in a matter of seconds it will change the IP address to a false one and just as quickly return the real IP address back. The plugin has almost no effect on the speed of the PC. But its main plus is that (thanks to adaptation to the Chromium and Mozilla Firefox platforms) you can visit blocked sites as part of your work with the usual customized browser. As long as it works with extensions from the Google Chrome store, Mozilla Firefox or Opera. Nothing new, except for the shortcut button, you do not need to master.

By hiding your real IP address and replacing it with a fake one with a location somewhere in Europe or the USA, the extension is the perfect tool to bypass site blocking in the CIS and Asia - whether it's a block at the suggestion of government authorities or it's a corporate way to excommunicate employees off social media during business hours. The last VPN Browsec plugin also promises to encrypt Internet traffic so that the administration at work cannot track the visited sites. Plus, the extension does not require administrator rights to work.

Browsec has its own official website, and even in the Russian version, where it can be installed in the specific browser used - either directly, as in the case of Mozilla Firefox, or by redirecting to the desired page in the extension store, as is the case with "chrome-like" web - columnists.

VPN Browsec for Mozilla Firefox

To install the plugin in Mozilla Firefox, go to the official Browsec website and in the "Download" section, click the "Install extension" button.

We allow installation.

We install it.

We click the VPN Browsec button that appears on the toolbar to change the IP address and check the result. In our case, access to the Internet is supposedly carried out from Amsterdam. To disable the extension activity and return to your real IP address, click the plugin button on the toolbar again.

In case the computer account is so limited that it is impossible to install at least some third-party browser, the creators of the plugin have provided a portable version of Mozilla Firefox for Windows with a pre-installed extension. A portable version of Mozilla Firefox can be downloaded from the same official website.

After downloading the archive with portable Mozilla Firefox, you need to unpack it to the right place on your computer.

VPN Browser Chrome

The specifics of the extension on the Chromium and Mozilla Firefox platforms do not differ in essence, but have a slightly different organization. There are no portable versions of Google Chrome, Opera and Yandex Browser on the official website of the plugin, but in these Chromium browsers we will be able to select a country for changing the IP address. The choice, however, is meager - only 4 countries, however, for most cases, if the default false IP address does not solve the problem of bypassing the territorial block, it can be changed to the IP of another country.

To install it is necessary in the Google Chrome window, go to the "Download" section on the Browsec website, click "Install extension".

By redirecting, we will get to the Google Chrome store to the installation page.

After installation on the Google Chrome toolbar, we will find a button with a plugin icon that enables and disables the plugin. In the drop-down window, when you click the button, we will see the above-mentioned option to select a country for changing the IP address.

VPN Browsec extension for Yandex Browser

Just like in Google Chrome, downloading VPN for Yandex Browser is quite easy.

The browser from the first Runet search engine supports extensions from the Google Chrome store, where, in fact, you can install VPN Browsec.

Browsec for Opera

Opera has its own extension. You can get to the desired page in the Opera store yourself or, as in the cases discussed above, by redirecting from the official website.

The specifics of working with VPN Browsec in Opera is the same as in Chrome - we enable and disable the extension with the button on the toolbar. And if necessary, change the country of access to the Internet.

Have a great day!

A VPN is the best way to get around blocking websites that your ISP has blocked. You can also hide information about yourself, change the IP address and transfer data in encrypted form. But for ordinary users, VPN is first and foremost the ability to visit sites that have been blocked and are not available in a particular country.

I have experienced this in my experience. I checked different VPN extensions (add-ons) for the four most popular browsers: Opera, Google Chrome, Yandex Browser and Firefox. I decided to share this useful information with you. Below we take a look at the best (in my opinion), free (though not all) VPN add-ons for browsers. I will also show you how to find and install them in each browser. After installing and activating these extensions, you will be able to visit blocked sites, social networks (VKontakte, Odnoklassniki) and other resources.

A free VPN cannot be of high quality. It works slowly and is not stable. Unfortunately, this is so. Especially in our time, when a large load has fallen on these free services. A free VPN is not suitable for permanent use. I think you've already seen this.

It is better, of course, to buy some kind of paid VPN.

A few words about what VPN (Virtual Private Network) is and how it works. This is a virtual private network. If this does not mean anything to you, then now I will try to explain in simple language. There are many VPN services, both free and paid. Using some kind of VPN service (customized via browser extension, PC program, Android, iOS), all our traffic goes through the server of this service. There can be a lot of such servers, in each country and several pieces (it all depends on the specific VPN service).

We get the IP address of the server through which we connect. This allows us to access blocked sites, as we change our location on the network, connecting through a server installed in another country (where certain sites are not blocked). All data that we transmit or receive is encrypted. This gives us additional protection, especially when connected via open Wi-Fi networks.

Sometimes security when using a VPN can be deceptive. Since all our traffic goes through the servers of some company there, there is always a risk that this company will take advantage of the information that passes through its servers. Therefore, I advise you to use only the time-tested and most popular VPN extensions for browsers. I will talk about these in this article.

It's simple: if in your country the provider has blocked access to some sites (for example, as VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Yandex and Mail.ru are now blocked in Ukraine), then we just install the VPN add-on in our browser, turn it on and we can go to sites to which we have restricted access.

Free VPN for Opera Browser

First of all, I will talk about the solution for the Opera browser. For the reason that I myself use this browser, and in this regard it is the best. Why? But because Opera does not need to install any third-party extensions in order to visit blocked sites. Opera has its own built-in free VPN that works just perfect!

All we need is to install the latest version of the browser. Then go to "Menu" - "Settings", on the "Security" tab, and check the box next to "Enable VPN".

It remains just to turn on the VPN, and you can go to sites that your Internet provider has blocked for you.

You can change the virtual location. But I advise you to leave "Optimal location".

The developers of the Opera browser are certainly great. Not only is the service free, but also with unlimited traffic and speed. And it is very convenient to use it. And most importantly, a company like Opera can be trusted. In any case, it is better than some VPN services that were created a couple of days ago.

If you use the Opera browser, then I think the issue of bypassing site blocking has been resolved for you.

Advice! If it is not very important for you which browser to use, then you can install Opera and visit the necessary sites through its VPN. In order not to search for and install third-party extensions in other browsers.

There are a lot of different VPN extensions for the Google Chrome browser. They can be found and installed from the official store. Let me first show how extensions are installed in the Chrome browser, and then I will show a few specific extensions that I personally tested in my work.

Open the menu, go to "More Tools" and select "Extensions". Then, at the bottom, click on "More extensions".

A new tab will open with a store of various add-ons for the Chrome browser. You can simply set VPN in the search, and we will get a list of necessary extensions.

Just click on the "Install" button, and the extension will be installed in the browser. Then, its icon will appear next to the "Menu" button.

Some VPN extensions for Chrome:

I tried many different ones. Each has its downsides. In any case, the download speed may decrease.

Installing a VPN in Yandex.Browser

First, update your browser to the latest version. In Yandex.Browser, you can install add-ons, among which there are VPN services.

To install an add-on, open the menu, then select Add-ons. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Directory of extensions for Yandex.Browser" button.

In the search, enter "vpn". A list of add-ons we need will appear.

To install the necessary, select it and click on the "Add to Yandex.Browser" button. I advise you to try: Hola Better Internet, ZenMate VPN, TunnelBear, DotVPN - better than VPN. After installation, the extension icon will appear near the address bar (on the right). Most likely, you will need to start the VPN in the settings of the add-on.

Installing friGate in Yandex.Browser

I think this is the best solution. Everything works well, and it is possible to open only some sites through the VPN that are blocked. You can create lists and add your sites there. Many blocked sites are added by default. Installing friGate as described above will not work. You need to download the extension file and install it.

friGate can be installed and configured in other browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Chrome.

VPN add-ons for Mozilla Firefox browser

In the Mozilla Firefox browser, you can also install the necessary extension. Or set up friGate, which I wrote about above (the link is also above).

Go to "Menu" - "Add-ons".

On the extensions tab, in the search bar we write "vpn", or the name of a particular extension.

You can go to the full list of extensions by clicking on the appropriate link below.

I checked Hotspot Shield Free VPN Proxy, Hoxx VPN Proxy, ZenMate Security and Privacy & Unblock VPN.

Hotspot Shield works as soon as you download and turn it on. Hoxx and ZenMate require registration.

After installing the VPN, blocked sites will open in Mozilla Firefox. If you don't like the download speed, or the stability of the work, you can try another add-on.

Afterword

Don't get hung up on installing everything. Remember, this may not be safe! Look at the rating, reviews, the number of installations of the extension.

Of the free solutions, I liked the built-in VPN in the Opera browser the most, and friGate, which can be installed in almost every browser.

Whatever VPN service you use, it has its drawbacks and inconveniences. He needs to be watched (enable or disable), speed, ping can also drop. Failures in the operation of the server through which you are connecting are not ruled out.
