From March 1, 2017, receiving and viewing Ukrainian satellite channels 1+1, 2+2, TET, PLUSPLUS, 1+1 International, UNIAN TV, CURLERS will be possible only on the Astra 4A satellite. To continue viewing these channels, you need to reconfigure your equipment.

So, self-tuning of satellite channels in Ukraine:
1. Click -Menu.

You also need to add and then scan on the Amos 4W satellite, frequency 11175/30000/H, for this:
1. Click -Menu.
2. Select “Install” and click “OK”.
3. In the “Satellite” line, select Amos 4w and “OK”. There is no need to change any other parameters.
4. To edit, press the yellow button at the bottom of the remote control.
5. Select, that is, step with the cursor on the line “TP number” and click “OK”.
6. In the drop-down list we find the frequency 11175/30000 H (next cycle: 11140/30000/H), and “OK”. If there is no such frequency, it should be added(green button) and save.
7. Press the red button at the bottom of the remote control to search for programs.
8. A window appears in which you need to set search parameters.
- Search mode - Open or FTA (to search only open programs)
- Program type - TV channel or TV channel + radio
- Scan type - Manual search
- Network Search - On
- Click “OK” to search.
All! Search completed. The found programs will appear at the bottom of the program list in the All satellites folder.
However, following these instructions, we will find a group of programs only at one given frequency. And if the list of programs has not been updated for a long time, I would advise scanning the entire satellite. It's very simple!
To do this:
1. Click -Menu.

3. In the “Satellite” line - select Astra 4.8E, or it can be called Sirius 4.8E (Sirius) and “OK”. There is no need to change any other parameters.

After scanning, enter the Edit Channels menu and remove unnecessary and inactive programs.

TV channels 1+1, Unian, PlusPlus, Kvartal TV And Curlers already available from satellite ASTRA 4A 4.8 E and broadcast in test mode until December 12 (extended until March 1), and after that on an ongoing basis. But on Amos 1+1 will be available until February 15, 2017. Later, the media group's broadcasting will completely switch to Astra (formerly Sirius).

So what kind of satellite is this? AMOS-3 was launched back in 2008 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The spacecraft is located at an altitude of approximately thirty-six thousand kilometers above the Earth. Its launch itself did not go according to plan due to minor problems at the cosmodrome. It is a telecommunications type satellite. The satellite belongs to Israel. They tried to make it as good as possible. And this is not surprising, since a considerable team of hundreds of people worked on it. The work lasted approximately three years. Today it is known that after the launch of the product, many contracts were concluded to lease satellite capacity. The figure was approximately 76% of the total capacity.
The device is equipped with broadcast antennas, of which there are four. Two of them can be controlled from anywhere on our planet. One of the main differences between a satellite is the number of transponders. There are 15 of them here. This significantly expands the coverage area of some repeaters. In general, the satellite consists of more than two hundred kilograms of communication devices. The creation of such an amazing device cost 170 million dollars. It weighs more than a ton. 
The device was created to replace the old AMOS-1 satellite, which was launched more than twenty years ago. A specially created Israeli product is designed to provide extremely high quality communications. A satellite for a period of fifteen years of non-stop service. It must carry out broadband data transmission to many parts of the globe.
Now that we know what this thing is, we need to find out parameters of satellite channels in Ukraine 2017 to receive the signal. And they look like this:
- satellite name – AMOS-3;
- orbital location - four degrees west longitude;
- reception frequency – 11.175;
- symbol rate is 30 Msym/s;
- Error correction factor – 3/4;
- Polarization is horizontal;
