Complete password removal on Windows 7

This chapter contains information on completely resetting the password for absolutely any account.

For this you will need flash drive and a working (with the ability to log into the OS) computer. Attention!

Step 1. Preparing a flash drive.

First you need to clean the drive.

Step 2. Download the required program to reset your password.

Step 3. Assign the status of the drive to boot.

Open "Start" → enter the query in the search bar: “cmd” → open the corresponding item using the right mouse button (required!) → “Run as administrator” (a black command console will launch);

Step 4. We start the computer from a bootable USB flash drive. Executing this step depends in part on your motherboard/laptop model. We need to set our drive to priority in Setup Menu (BIOS) or Boot Menu→ turn off the computer on which we plan to recover the password and:

Click « Enter » ;
"C:\Windows\System32\config" – access to the register;
"Password Reset » – launching a complete password removal script;
Enter username whose password needs to be reset;
« Clear User Password » – clearing the password from the registry

This password cannot be reset using a regular bootable USB flash drive. To remove this type of protection, you need to “examine” the computer hardware. Go to BIOS(this is done by pressing the F1/F2/F12/Delete button);

Create a new account

net localgroup Administrators username /add
net localgroup Users username /delete

For English Windows:

net user username password /add
net localgroup Administrators username /add
net localgroup Users username /delete

The commands sequentially perform the following actions:

Creating a new user.
Adding a user to a group ( Administrators).
Removing a user from a group Users (Users).

If you want to set the password to never expire for all accounts, enter the following command at the end:

net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited

When you finish typing, close the Command Prompt window.
