PLEASANT USE!

Once we bought a children's tablet L exibook® Tablet Master 2 I thought it would be nice for a child to have a tablet, but what would it had Android OS and the child was interested and safe. To be honest, I leave my review with slight disappointment. Yes, there are many simple games, their own primitive browser, many programs, protection from surfing the Internet in search of bad sites.

And here's the fun part., there you can only install programs from their own store. That is, there is no Google Play, and which is interesting even when you install it manually, it just doesn't work.

Google Play service is missing

Most likely, Google services are simply banned there. Their own store, unfortunately, is not distinguished by a wide variety of useful programs, especially since there is almost nothing there in Russian. Well, the versions of the programs are for some reason quite backward. As a search on the Internet has shown, this tablet is not alone.

Apparently manufacturers want to earn extra money in this way, allegedly relying on the safety of children. Like everything they have is safe, but unfortunately backward.

How do I install Google Play on my tablet?

This is where the problem arose of how to install Google Play on a tablet. Unfortunately the fight was unsuccessful... Theoretically, you can get root access and find the hosts file, because, most likely, Google's address is banned there. However, all this turned out to be quite difficult. So I went the easy way.

Searching for Google Play alternatives

Now there are a lot of services on the Internet and app stores that will help you install programs for Android without unnecessary problems replacing Google Play.

First, you need to choose a service, I will change the ones below, but there are others. If you have a favorite other, then write in the comments.

Yandex. Store

For example, Yandex. Store. Good enough service for installing applications.

However, it has several drawbacks. There is still not a large selection of programs and games. Often outdated versions of programs. But the service is developing some day in the future he will be quite good.

1mobile

Ultimately I ended up choosing the excellent 1mobile service. The app store contains, in my opinion, all programs from Google Play, installed without problems and constantly updated.

Interestingly... On Google Play, I ran into a problem on one of my tablets that some programs were not installed. Writes that the hardware or OS is not supported. However, from 1mobile, these programs are installed and work without problems. Thus, solving the problem of installing such cunning programs.

Installation process

You need enable in settingsandroid devices ( if function disabled) the ability to install with unknown sources « Settings / Security / unknown sources(check mark)". Then download the program, launch it, and you will have a third-party application for the app store service installed. With it, you will install any application.

In this video, you can see more clearly how this is done.

Why are there smartphones without Google Play?

Almost everyone knows that Android is a free operating system. In fact, this is not entirely true. Manufacturers of portable gadgets really get the code for free. They don't have to pay for each copy of the operating system, as is the case with Windows. However, Google wouldn't be so rich if it were that simple.

If the manufacturer wants to equip his creation with the main Google services (Gmail, Google Play, Maps, etc.), then it is necessary to send the smartphone for verification of compliance with all standards. This examination will show whether the operating system will run on the device without any glitches. Needless to say, this check costs money? If the examination shows that some of the components are not adapted for this operating system, then the creators will have to redo the device and then send it for a new check. And these are new costs amounting to tens of thousands of dollars.

For large companies, all this is a routine process, and costs are lost against the background of much more significant income. But some Chinese manufacturers are unable to boast of massive sales, which is why they are looking for different ways to save money. One of them is to immediately send the smartphone to store shelves, bypassing expertise. But in this case, they have to ship a device with a completely bare operating system, which is devoid of Google services. The buyer will have to independently install Play Market on Android in order to make working with the device convenient.

Installing the Play Market

The Google Play online store client is the same application as everyone else. It turns out that you first need to download Play Market on Android, and then install it. You can find the corresponding file on third-party resources. Please note: the installation file must have the .apk extension - all applications and games for the Android operating system have the same extension.

If you downloaded the installation file directly to your tablet or smartphone, then you can skip this step. If you still have it on your computer, then you will need to transfer it to your mobile device. The easiest way to do this is to use a USB connection. You can copy the file to the Downloads folder.

By default, the operating system does not allow you to install applications from somewhere other than Google Play. Therefore, you first need to go to " Settings", In the section" Safety". Here you should check the box next to the item " unknown sources».

Now all that remains is to use any file manager. Even the one that is built into the smartphone by default will do. With its help, you need to go to the folder with the Play Market file.

Install the Google Play client, giving it all the required permissions. If you want to use it to download any application, then you will additionally need a Google account. How to register it is described by us in

It is unlikely that among the owners of mobile devices running Android OS there are many who have never used the Play Market - the official online store from Google, providing access to a wide variety of content. Apps, games, books, music and films - all of this can be found and downloaded on Google Play, but to be able to do this, a special Play Store application must be installed on the device.

The condition is optional, you can download games and programs from the Google Store without any intermediaries, but it is still much more convenient to do this through the Play Market. Most of the firmware of smartphones and tablets of popular brands has this application by default, which cannot be said about devices from lesser-known Chinese manufacturers who do not consider it necessary to install the program on their gadgets.

This, of course, is not good, but it is not critical, because the Store can be installed separately. From this article you will learn how to install Play Market on Android and what you need for this. And not so much is needed, namely the Play Market installation APK file. In some cases, you may also need additional Google services files, but we'll come back to this later, and now we'll look at the simplest method.

Installing Play Store using APK file

The first step is to go to the "Security" section of the settings and enable the ability to install applications from unknown sources.

Next, find the Play Market APK file on the Internet and download it to your mobile device. Before installing, be sure to check the file with an anti-virus program, even if you trust the source. Launch any file manager on your smartphone, open the downloaded APK file of the Store with it and follow the instructions of the operating system.

After the installation is complete, all that remains is to log in to the application by entering your username and password for your Google account.

After installing the Store, you will need to update it to the latest version, otherwise it may not work correctly. At the same time, it is recommended to download and install the Google Play Services application so that the Play Store itself and the applications installed with its help can be updated automatically.

Installing Play Market through the recovery environment

If you cannot install Play Market on Android via the APK file, you can resort to a more sophisticated method - installation via the Recovery environment. The main disadvantage of this method is its complexity and the need for root rights, but it also has a positive side - after the procedure is completed, your device will have a full set of Google applications and services. As in the previous example, you first need to enable permission to install applications from third-party sources in the settings. After that go to the resource opengapps.org, download and save the Google Apps software package to the root directory of the file system of the mobile device, having previously indicated your platform and its version. Build a package you can choose Nano.

For the case, you also need the ROM Manager application. Download it from any third-party resource, and even better from the Google Store, using the service apps.evozi.com that allows you to download installation files for Android applications from the market through a browser. Now activate superuser rights and replace the standard recovery environment with the CWM Recovery environment using the ROM Manager utility. For this we choose Recovery Setup - ClockWordMod Recovery, indicate your phone model and click "Install ClockWordMod". After installation, return to the main application window and click "Download Recovery".

The modified recovery environment will boot. Using the volume rocker, select the "install zip from sdcard" section in the menu, enter it by pressing the smartphone power button, specify the path to the previously downloaded Google Apps ZIP archive and start its installation by clicking Yes Install. Exit the resuscitation environment by selecting "reboot system now" in the main window.

If everything goes well, after rebooting your smartphone you will have a Play Market.

Using the file manager as root

We will offer another way to install Play Market on your phone. It is much simpler than the second one, but it also requires root permissions. You will also need a Play Market APK file and preferably Google Services Framework and Google Login Service files, also in APK format. All this can be found on the Internet, for example, on the website www.apkmirror.com... Having obtained superuser rights, use Total Commander or another file manager to drop the APK files into the directory system / app... In this case, the system will ask you for permission to grant the Explorer root-rights. Grant it the appropriate rights and the files will be copied to the system directory.

That's all, you just need to restart your mobile device. After the phone boots up, the Play Store icon will appear on your desktop, so you just have to launch the application and log in with it in the Google Store.

Installing Play Market on Meizu phones

The firmware of Chinese smartphones, in particular from the manufacturer Meizu, has an App Store application that can be used to search and install the Play Market. Everything is very simple here. Open the App Store, search for “Google” for the Google Apps Installer and install it.

If the App Store can't find it right away, click on "Search for other software stores" in the window. Launch Google Apps Installer. The app will automatically download and install Play Store and other Google apps and services.
